I know, I know. I have been terribly inconsistent lately. But you know what? I'm not terribly sorry. Hah. At the beginning of the year I made a goal to post twice a month. Then I was choosing to prioritize other things and made a new goal to post monthly. I did well at that for a little while, but with pregnancy, caring for a toddler, my new church calling (I was called as the President of our church's children's organization at the end of August), and my overwhelming desire to spend any bit of free time reading means that I haven't even been doing that. But I'm not stressing about it because this blog is to document our life and to share it with you. It's okay if it doesn't happen consistently.
We were invited by some friends to go to the pumpkin patch this past weekend. We went to one called Farmland Adventures that was about 30 minutes from where we live. Evie had a blast! Not only was there a pumpkin patch, but there were pony rides (her absolute favorite part), a corn maze, massive pits of deer corn for playing in, wagon rides, pig races (yes, you read that right!), and play areas with hay and big plastic tunnels. The weather was beautiful and sunny, and we had a great time out as a family spending time with friends. All in all, a great day that has us oh so excited for Fall!

Love you all! xoxo, Marissa
